Does DeviceLink store my files?

No. Your files are streamed in real-time from your machine to the AI. Nothing is ever stored on DeviceLink servers.

What happens if I close the agent?

All access stops immediately. The AI will receive an error if it tries to access your files while the agent is offline. Restart the agent any time by running dlink again.

Can I use DeviceLink with multiple AI platforms at once?

Yes. Connect as many platforms as you like. Claude, ChatGPT, and others can all be active simultaneously, pointing at the same workspace.

Can multiple teammates use the same shared device?

Yes. Add teammates to your workspace and they all gain access to devices shared in it. Each person authenticates separately with their own account.

How do I stop sharing a folder?

Close the agent. Access ends instantly. You can also sign out from the agent console by typing signout.

Is DeviceLink free to use?

DeviceLink uses a credit-based model. New accounts receive free credits to get started. You can add more credits from the billing page in your organization.
